For students who have learned Computer assisted translation systems
Project 1
1. Students are required to choose one of the CAT tools to conduct their own projects
2. Select the translation community to join or post your products.
3. Carry out your products.
3. Give presentation of how you carry out your project (all the steps of creating your products) and your own product
4. Show the number of reviewers and their comments on your products
5. Write a report/assignment (~ 500 words)about the outcomes (benefits and challenges) from conducting your project. You have to submit it in Week 12
Project 2
1. Students are required to create a corpus including 100 texts (200-250 words) on different topics registered at the beginning of the course
2. Use the CAT tool to translate the texts into the target language.
3. Write a report/assignment (~ 500 words)about the outcomes (benefits and challenges) from conducting your project 2. You have to submit it in Week 12.
Note: Project 2 will replace your final test.
